If you have a performance, retired, or trail horse and don't have the time to maintain your horse due to work, travel, or lack of pasture, let us do it for you! Here at Twisted B Ranch we board a small number of outside horses to approved clients. We can customize feed plans, arrange feed times, and personalize just about ANYTHING for you and your horse's needs! Our clients and their horses are our family.
Stall Board: $350 per month.
** three stalls avail starting 6/1/2009**
Includes the following:
- Turn in either at night or during day depending on season
- Box fans provided in the summer
- one to two water buckets (cleaned daily) per stall depending on horses needs
- ample amounts of clean bagged shavings
- stalls cleaned every day and limed if needed
- grain feeding 2x per day, 3x can be arranged
- hay 2x per day
- turnout in either paddock or pasture
Pasture board: $250 per month

Includes the following:
- Feed given 2x daily
- Hay 2x daily
- access to large clean water troughs that are filled every night
**Please note that although we are very small we keep our facility very clean to allow for our high traffic**
Highlights of our boarding contract:
- We feed a 10% protein/6% fat grain to our horses along with soaked beet pulp 2x per day
- Horses are given salt every a.m. in middle of winter and middle of summer to increase water intake
- bran mash given every three weeks
- Our board INCLUDES YOUR WORMER!!
- At our facility we feed more hay than we do grain. We have found our horses to be healthier and happier and more controllable when not packed full of marketed products and fed an all natural way. We only feed our largest horses 6 pounds of grain per day.
- All horses are given 3 flakes of hay twice a day.
- We clean paddocks at least every other day and drag our pasture at LEAST once a week.
- Facility is treated with fly pests during the summer for insect maitenance
Extra Charges and fees:
- Catch/release for vet: $5
- Catch/release for farrier: $5
- Emergency vet care: Can range from $2 extra per day to $50 per overnight spent at the barn with your horse. we ARE willing to monitor for you!
- Supplements: Provide at your own charge
- Extra hay/grain: $25 extra per month
- Paddock board: $15 extra per month due to cleaning
- Emergency paddock board (injury/sickness):$3 extra per day
- Beet pulp: $10 extra per month
Our facility also includes:
- Small working roundpen
- 60 foot riding ring/roundpen
- open dirt arena
- large riding field
- tack room
- feed room
- wash stall
- hitching posts
** We do not have a restroom! Please bear rome was not built in a day**
