Rusty Butler
Co-owner, primary trainer
Rusty has been in the horse industry since the day he was born. Following in his father, Calvin Taylor's, footsteps, he has become one of the most desired trainers in the region. Using his own unique techniques and handling, Rusty has trained all breeds of horses, all ages, and all heights. His belief is that starting a horse under saddle is not "making" them ride, but teaching them that they can enjoy it. With this belief, he has built a very successful name for himself. Known for turning even the most nervous or unhandled horses into good riding horses for children and adults alike, our farm has never learned to turn a back to a horse with a problem. Although not all horses can be fixed, something Rusty decides based on careful trial and error, most horses have either come into bad experiences or having a problem understanding what their owners want. Not a believer in the whip method of training, rusty builds confidence and trust, something that a horse needs to remain the good companion they are meant to be!

Ashley Butler
Co-owner, manager
Ashley has always been an avid horse lover, riding her friend's horses as a child and dreaming of owning her own horse for years after. As a teenager she bought her first horse, and the passion blossomed from there. Since that first horse, Ashley has become one of the most respected manager in the region. She served as a barn manager at Congaree farms, under the instruction of Elizabeth Cate Grove for six years. Following that job she has had job offers from most of the local farms, Thoroughbred farms in Midway Kentucky, and even Budweiser clydesdale travelling team. Instead, she chose to use her knowledge at her own horse farm. With an exstensive knowledge in equine nutrition and healthcare, she is known as one of the most thorough and carring managers to take care of other people's horses.
